Terms of service
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Guru Social Pilot, provided by GuruAlpha. If your company has a separate written agreement with GuruAlpha, that agreement takes priority where the two differ.
The service
Guru Social Pilot lets you plan, approve, publish and measure posts on the social networks you connect. Access is by invitation: GuruAlpha creates a workspace for each customer, and the workspace owner manages who else can use it.
Your account
- Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account and for the people you invite to your workspace.
- You must be at least 18 and allowed to act for the business whose accounts you connect.
Connected social accounts
- Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- When you connect an account, you allow Guru Social Pilot to publish the posts you schedule and to read the data described in our privacy policy.
- Each network's own terms still apply to everything published there, for example the YouTube Terms of Service, Meta's, TikTok's, LinkedIn's and X's terms and community guidelines.
- You can disconnect an account at any time. Posts that have not been published yet to that account are then cancelled.
Your content
You keep all rights to the posts, images, videos and other content you add. You give GuruAlpha permission to store, process and publish that content only as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you publish, including music, images and people shown.
Acceptable use
Do not use Guru Social Pilot to:
- publish anything illegal, misleading, hateful, harassing or that infringes someone else's rights;
- send spam, run fake engagement, or break any network's rules or limits;
- try to access other workspaces, get around security or limits, or overload the service.
We may pause an account or workspace that breaks these rules, and will tell the workspace owner why.
Publishing and availability
We work hard to publish every post on time, but social networks can reject, delay or remove posts, change their features, or revoke access, and these are outside our control. Check the app for failed posts; we notify you when one fails. We may change or improve features, and will tell workspace owners in advance of changes that take something important away.
Fees
If your workspace has a paid plan, fees, billing period and limits are shown on its Billing page and invoices. Invoices are due by the date shown. If an invoice stays unpaid after the grace period, publishing may be paused until it is paid.
Ending the service
The workspace owner can ask us to close the workspace at any time. We can close a workspace with 30 days' notice, or straight away for serious breaches of these terms. After closing, we delete the workspace's data as described in our privacy policy. Ask us before then if you want an export.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, GuruAlpha is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or for actions by social networks, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. For important changes we tell workspace owners by email first. Questions: info@gurualpha.com.
